They are a ten-piece, Chicago-based band led by seven sons of the legendary jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran. Their musical style ranges from hip hop to jazz to funk and rock, including calypso and gypsy music. They call their eclectic blend of sound “now music”, or “Hypnotic”. They’ve performed at Coachella, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall. Their song ‘War’ was featured in the blockbuster hit movie, The Hunger Games. The band will release a new album ‘Bad Boys of Jazz’ in November 2019.
