Ye Vagabonds are brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn. A core force in the traditional Irish music circuit, Ye Vagabonds fuse reflective folk music with traditional elements. The duo continue to develop new ideas within the trad style by forming their own sound. They have developed their compositions with influences of American old time, European music and the 1960s folk revival music. They have made numerous television and live radio appearances in Ireland, and were also part of Imagining Home, a live broadcast concert in the National Concert Hall, curated by Glen Hansard, Philip King and Gary Sheehan.

It is his account of growing up in Sligo and his four decades working for the public service broadcasting organisation, RTÉ. Niall Delaney is CEO of one of the country’s most successful regional radio stations, Ocean FM, and presenter of the weekday morning programme, North West Today.
