Barry Moore was a dynamic Irish singer/songwriter defined by passion, lyricism, and a respect for tradition coupled with a willingness to defy expectations. He was already a seasoned troubadour on the folk scene in Europe, Britain and Ireland when he reinvented himself as Luka Bloom in 1987. 

As a solo acoustic act with a big voice and intense guitar style he channelled the energy and power of rock into his many albums,

rising to international acclaim and becoming one of Ireland’s best-loved contemporary folk artists. 

Prolific in the studio and even more so as a consummate stage performer, Bloom’s output includes heartfelt organic folk, eclectic covers, socio-political anthems and world music fusions. Get ready for a night to remember
